They say a picture paints a thousand words. I therefore present here a picture of an actual timesheet of mine from way back in 2012.
Why a photo from 2012? Because I don’t have a more recent one. I don’t actually photograph everything. I was cleaning up the photos on my hard drive and found this snapshot of my timesheet. I really don’t remember why. I must’ve been amused and decided that I wanted to keep a memory of it.
Like I said in my answer to What is your everyday routine at work?, everyday is different. To have a 13-hour workday is not unusual. But it’s not as bad as it sounds. There are set maximum hours of work and set minimum hours of rest per day and per week, which is to say that your employer cannot expect or demand that you work 13 hours for several days in a week because if you go over the maximum work hours in a given week, then that counts as non-compliance to ILO regulations.
