I make it to #DFA in time before the Courtesy Lane cutoff. But they tell me I need an #OEC or some other proof of being an active #seafarer — even though the DFA website only required seaman’s book as proof for use of the Courtesy Lane and even though the seaman’s book does show when and where I last worked.
If I did the usual online appointment, it wouldn’t be till the end of March.
Almost didn’t get in. Fortunately the lady in charge decided to allow it.
