I was out and about with head geekette Charo and we decided to check out the new Slimmers World Elite gym at the mall. How is it different from the old Slimmers World gyms?
We got a quick tour. Turns out Elite is their “high-end” gym. Translation: extra fancy and really expensive. How expensive? If you are already a Slimmers World lifetime gold member, to upgrade to a lifetime Elite membership means an additional 50,000 pesos for all-access, or 45,000 pesos for access to only one Elite gym. If you have no existing lifetime membership at their old gyms, a lifetime Elite membership is 85,000 pesos for all-access and 80,000 pesos for access limited to one Elite branch.
Interesting. But not for me. I already have a lifetime all-access gym membership which I got in 2003 and it’s more than plenty for my needs. 😄
I imagine the people wanting to join something so fancy are those who want to rub elbows with similarly funded or minded people. 😎
