Oh no…

I just noticed that my little jade plant — botanical name Crassula ovata, also known as money plant or money tree — is looking wrinkled on the underside of some leaves. 😱

And one leaf appears to have a permanent black line, and looks “dirty”. The dirt looks like brownish gray ash.
I’ve had it for 3 weeks now and didn’t water it till yesterday because I was told it only needs watering once or twice a month.
So…
Apparently not. 😕

Oh, and for the past 2 weeks I kept it in the car so it could get more sun, versus keeping it in my room which not only gets little to no sun but is also more humid than the car.
Gotta avoid root rot. ☝
Then somebody on Mastodon told me that for my jade plant in a tiny pot, watering should be about once a week. Also, nothing can be done about the bruising. And any white specks or dust on the leaves is how jade plants get rid of any extra salts they don’t need in the water. Supposedly normal.
Good to know. 🤓👍
