So regarding my Asus ROG laptop’s glitchy screen shutting off (sometimes) and never coming back on (till I restart the laptop) when I plug it in to charge (while it’s running), I decided to try a solution that’s meant to fix flickering. 😒
I changed the refresh rate from 144 to 60 Hz. Will observe it the next couple of days and see if the problem goes away.
And we thought technology would make life easier. 😖
Update (08 October 2019) Well, well, well... It's been two weeks and it looks like my laptop's screen is fixed now. The screen display hasn't died on me since I changed the refresh rate. It doesn't even flicker anymore. All good. 😃👍
