I love food! š
I donāt need a whole lot.Ā I just want it good.
Where in the world shall The Cruising Shutterbug dine?
With so many ports and cities in the world, sometimes it takes a while to recall what a place was like and what I can do and where I can go once Iām there.
As with my other āWhere in the worldā¦ā pages or posts, this is me reminding myself ā where to go to for good local food, or for a quickie from something like McDonaldās, Subway or KFC.Ā Seriously.Ā Anything, to escape from crew mess cuisine.
This list is in alphabetical order with the name of the country and then the name of the city or port, followed by the name of the food place and the date I last dined there.Ā Iāve added comments to remind myself which dish I loved, if I had any favorite.
To whomever it may concern, these places are not in the Splurge price range.Ā Iām an average person with Average needs and wants.Ā What I consider an average-priced meal is less than fifteen (15) USD or EUR or GBP.Ā Definitely less, if we are speaking in terms of EUR or GBP. š
Oh yes, in rare occasions like blue moon sightings, I may splurge.Ā But my splurging is more mid-range, really.Ā Not too fancy. I’m a simple gal.Ā And if I ever do any real splurging, do look up and check out the moon.Ā It may have turned lavender. š

Man.-Fre. KL. 10.00-20.00 & LĆørdag KL. 11.00-16.30Delicious healthy food. Tasty salads and salad sandwiches. Coffee sometimes available, brewed the coffee press way.
2013
Entrance is a few steps below ground level, on GrĆønnegade 16.
First time I was there I had a salad sandwich of chili chicken + [cherry] tomato basil + chili pesto paste and 2 servings of coffee. Yum! It was supposed to be a 3-salad sandwich but I didn’t think I could eat it all. Maybe next time I’ll do takeout.
Second time I went there the food was just as good though it was a different lady serving and my salad sandwich came in a paper plate with plastic utensils and she didn’t have any coffee. That was a bummer. But it’s my favorite hangout in Copenhagen.
Oh yeah, Wi-Fi available too. š
And, just as importantly, they accept credit card payments.

Posh-looking place with floor-to-ceiling glass windows and huge, colored, lantern-inspired lighting.
We treated our boss Geoff to a birthday lunch.Ā A very late lunch.Ā They serve buffet lunch on Sundays, for about 20ā¬ per person.Ā With one drink plus our share in treating the boss, it cost each of us 26ā¬.Ā Not the amount Iād normally spend for lunch.Ā But it was so very worth it.Ā The food was excellent! š
Unfortunately, service was lacking.Ā We were not pleased.Ā But itās buffet style anyway.Ā Self-service.Ā Youāll only need the services of your waitress for beverage needs and for billing.Ā And, did I mention that the food was excellent?
And, no, I donāt exaggerate.

2010 October
The best pizza I’ve ever had! š
I ordered one personal-sized pizza for takeout, to eat onboard ā half for snacking, half for dinner.Ā The pizza was so good that I ate the whole thing in one sitting.Ā I think it was prosciutto e funghi, or something like that.
Seriously.Ā I never enjoyed pizza so much.Ā Ironically, out of all the Italian ports Iāve been to, the best pizza Iāve ever tasted was at a place that is operated by Chinese people.Ā Yes, Iāve tried the pizza in Naples.Ā But Venice still wins.
No service fees as of October 2010.
(Itās not uncommon to be charged different prices for dining indoors, dining al fresco, and buying takeout.)
