Sometimes, as part of my job, I am asked to post or mail something for the business.
With all the ports that I visit, it does get confusing. So this is my little effort at reminding myself where to go to should I need to send something via snail mail.
This list is in alphabetical order with the name of the territory or country and then the name of the city or port. The text in italics right after the country name is what they call their post office in their language.
Canary Islands – La Palma – Santa Cruz de La Palma
la oficina de correos
Correos y Telégrafos @ Carretera del Galión
From the port area’s main entrance, cross to where the Tourist Information is, then cross once more to the large building that says “Correos”. Postal service vans are also yellow here, like in Barcelona. They don’t seem to understand English though. My request for a tracking number got lost in translation.
Germany
die Post
Hamburg
Post @ Detlev-Bremer-Straße corner Seiler-str., near Reeperbahn
die Post is at the corner with the yellow signs, along a smaller street that’s perpendicular from Reeperbahn. They don’t speak a lot of English, but they’re pleasant. 🙂
Greece
Rhodes
Small post office cum souvenir shop near the Palace Of The Grand Masters in Old Town, Rhodes.
Envelopes with bubble wrap lining available there.
There’s a larger post office somewhere, but I’ve never been there so… 😛
Italy

Barcelona
Correus @ Via Laietana
From shuttle drop off point. Past the monument Mirador de Colom, via Passeig de Colom. But I prefer walking through the small street parallel to it which starts at La Rambla (or Las Ramblas). 🙂
